Sunday Setlist … June 28, 2009
Buenas dias!
What a powerful day at GracePoint today! Bryson delivered an incredible message about God’s purposes for this recession that we find ourselves in the middle of. The music was awesome. The air was hot and humid. Well, I guess that last one wasn’t such a great thing. This morning, we found ourselves in the gym at Northwest HS instead of the auditorium. It’s actually a nice space except for the lack of air conditioning…
This week, the music was toned down significantly with some very nice acoustic stuff.
The setlist:
- See His Love by Kim Walker
- Hope Now by Addison Road
- Love is Here by Tenth Avenue North
- Here With Me by MercyMe (prayer time)
- Love You ‘Til the End by The Pogues
See His Love first debuted at GP a few months ago on Easter. Incredible song! Powerful lyrics!
Hope Now was also recently added to the repertoire.
Love is Here was new last week. Great song! I haven’t listened to a lot of Tenth Avenue North, but I like everything that I’ve heard so far.
Here With Me was the only “oldie” in the lineup today. For me, this song is getting a little stale, but it did really fit well for the prayer time…
Love You ‘Til the End is a great song. I think we used it one other time during the “GP at the Movies” series last summer. Kevin Herrington made his lead vocal debut today. Wow! is all I have to say. Kevin - Andrea has decided that she wants you to sing this at my funeral.
The band: 1 female and 2 male vocalists, all 3 playing acoustic guitar, and keys (piano and strings mostly).
Be sure to check out some setlists from other churches all over the country (check that) world over at Fred’s Sunday Setlist Extravaganza.
This was a wonderful worship today. I LOVE 10th Avenue North. Everyone’s vocals were spot on for these and I agree about Kevin, WOW! Why hasn’t that man serenaded us before now?
All of the music was really moving!! LOVED it!! Kevin’s debut was awesome!! Can’t wait to hear him sing again!!
I don’t think I know a single song on your list! I guess I need to get busy and check some of these out.
